Conner Salisbury signed with Hannibal-LaGrange University this spring. Salisbury will be throwing the shot, discus, hammer, weight and possibly the javelin at the university.
As a senior thrower, Salisbury has become a leader. He said, “I have improved this year by being a helper rather than an independent competitor. I really like helping people get better.”
Salisbury is excited about his upcoming experiences. “I feel really good about getting to further my education at the college of my choice,” he said. Salisbury feels his biggest challenge switching from a high school athlete to a college athlete will be starting all over in a new place.
Salisbury’s parents are Kimball and Denise Salisbury. He plans to major in Business Administration while attending college.
