Matt Smith, CHS principal, selected high school language arts teacher Jennifer Ludwig to receive the February arrangement of the month. Smith chose Ludwig for this honor because of the extra work she puts toward creating the yearbook each year.

Mrs. Ludwig and her Publications class are in charge of producing the Heliostat, the CHS yearbook. Ludwig has been in charge of creating and publishing the yearbook for many years. This is Ludwig’s 8th yearbook at CHS and the 13th yearbook of her career.

Creating the yearbook can be a stressful and time-consuming process. Smith is very appreciative of the great work she does each year on this project. Smith said, “Our yearbook is always very well done, professional and an enjoyable keepsake for students and families. Mrs. Ludwig takes great pride in leading our students in this endeavor.”

Ludwig’s Publications class works hard all year long to create the CHS yearbook. Her students are dedicated to complete each page to the best of their ability. All of their homework is published for everyone to read.

Ludwig teaches Language I, Language II and Publications. She loves working with students and seeing how they grow and change over time. Ludwig said, “I felt honored that Mr. Smith recognized the amount of time and effort it takes to create a yearbook.”
