Stations are a very popular way for our students to be able to practice the skills we are covering in math class. Currently the Kindergarten students have been learning about subtraction. They are able to practice their subtraction knowledge by playing games and using apps on our iPads. The other nice piece about stations is that the students can review previously taught skills at the same time. This allows the previous skills to be continued to be reinforced all year. Finally, the teacher is also able to meet with students in a small group setting to provide addition practice on the current skill. Overall, everyone in Kindergarten LOVES to have station time!
