Centralia High School is gearing up to celebrate Courtwarming. The varsity girls’ and boys’ Courtwarming basketball game will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019, against the Highland Cougars. The theme is “Roaring Through the Decades.”
The CHS student body voted on the Courtwarming king and queen candidates. The king candidates are Max Beard, Elijah Crutchfield, Peyton Davis, Quentin Foster, William Rolfson and Martin Yund. Lily Biggs, Gwen Bostick, Kyra Dickerson, Claire Hunter, Carter Simkins and Sarah Spires are the queen candidates. The king and queen will be crowned between the girls’ and boys’ varsity games on Saturday, and the coronation photos and royalty recognition will take place at the dance at 10:30 p.m.
The semiformal Courtwarming dance will start after the game on Saturday and end at 12:00 a.m. The cost to get into the dance is $3.00 per person and $5.00 per couple. Bob Dobbs will be the DJ at the dance. Additionally, the pep assembly will be at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, February 1.
