In Kindergarten, we have recently started a new math concept called coding! We have been talking about how computers can’t do anything by themselves, they have to be told what to do! Basic coding has become an essential skill for grown-ups and children alike. In the first few lessons, the kids were shown how to use arrows to program the teacher to get from one spot to another, and then how to code to go around barriers. Then the students became “robots” and coded for each other to get from one place to the next. They thought this was a lot of fun! Our world is becoming more and more based off technology, most of the tools your child uses today is based off of codes!
