Pictured above are the First Quarter BUG Students from Chester Boren Middle School with Mr. Ed Dunstan and Mr. Nathan Chitwood of Centralia’s Kiwanis Chapter. BUG stands for
Bringing-Up-Grades” and is sponsored by our local Kiwanis chapter. It is designed to encourage students to improve on their grade from one quarter to the next.
The first quarter recipients included 43 6th graders who earned a 3.75 GPA, or higher, for the first quarter. All 6th grade students are eligible to enter the BUG Program by raising their GPA .25 points from the previous quarter; or, by earning a 3.75 GPA.
Congratulations to our first quarter recipients!
