Williams Receives Arrangement of the Month

Dr. Matt Smith, CHS principal, honored Mr. Aaron Williams, CHS history teacher, with the January flower arrangement of the month

Williams does a lot at CHS. Williams helps coach football and track. He received his undergraduate degree from Southwest Baptist University. He teaches American History and AP Human Geography at CHS. He has been a football coach at CBMS since 2015 and taught 8th-grade social studies at the middle school before moving to CHS. He has been a CHS football coach since 2016 and a CHS track coach since 2016. Outside of school, Williams likes to watch history-related Tik Toks as well as other history shows and movies.

Smith recognizes that Williams has worked hard to make strong connections with his students. He said, “Mr. Williams is a wonderful role model for our students here at CHS. He does an outstanding job in the classroom while at the same time serving as a valuable member of both the football and track coaching staff. Mr. Williams goes above and beyond year-round to assist his students and athletes, a reason why our kids feel so much affection for, and connection with, him.”

Williams will be moving to Kansas City and teaching there at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. He and his wife Abigail had their baby, Charlotte Grace, in late February of 2020.
