The CBMS Nexus (gifted education) students traveled to Joplin over the weekend of April 12 to perform in the state competition known as "Destination Imagination." The sixth grade team placed fifth in Challenge E, the seventh grade team tied for fifth in Challenge A, and our eighth grade team placed sixth in Challenge C. In another competition category entitled "Project Outreach," our seventh grade team placed second overall, qualifying them to be invited to the Global competition in Knoxville, Tennessee May 22-25. Congratulations to all or our Nexus students and their "coach," Ann Seider, for representing themselves, their families, and our school so proudly! CBMS Nexus teams are comprised of the following students:
Sixth grade-Max Beard, Trenton Cook, Trenton Heywood, and William Rolfson
Seventh grade-Patrick Bentlage, Olivia Eikel, Kaitlyn Erhart, Chelza Garcia, Brett Huffington, Kelsey Jaeger, and Grant Kropf
