2013-14 Supply Lists Available

Even though summer has just started, the 2013-14 supply lists for Kindergarten through Eighth grade are now available. You can download a copy of your child's supply list here or pick up a copy at the Centralia R-VI Board Office.

2013 Summer School Times and Dates

The Centralia R-VI School District will be holding Summer School during the following times at the following locations.

At Chance Elementary School from 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Kindergarten - June 3-14

First Grade - June 3 - 21

Second Grade - June 3 - 28

At Chester Boren Middle School from 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Third through Eigth Grade - June 3 - 28

At Centralia High School

Session 1 - June 3 - 21 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Session 2 - June 24 - June 28 and July 8 - 19 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The summer months have arrived, and it is a busy time for our maintenance crews. I met with our contractors who will be adding the final pieces of air conditioning to the high school this summer, and they are anxious to get started. We have several projects going on around the district, and it is sure to be a hectic summer.

Summer school is in full swing. It’s great to see the students getting opportunities to supplement their education during the summer months. We want students to learn

The Centralia R-VI Board of Education met Monday night, May 13, 2013. The meeting kicked off with the Centralia High School’s State Champion FFA Ag. Issues Team. They performed their state winning presentation for the board and fielded questions afterwards.It was excellent and another great testament to the quality education our students are receiving. Hats off to the team, Mr. Stone and Mrs. Lewis.

The primary focus of the rest of the night was capital projects for 2013-2014. Jeff Lowe from Facility Solutions Group (FSG) presented bids for finishing the air-conditioning at the high school. The presentation included plans to air-condition the
