Late Starts Are Possible
If it is appropriate, the Centralia R-VI School District may declare a "Late Start" to a school day due to weather and/or road conditions. A "Late Start" would be declared if the weather and/or road conditions are poor in the early morning but the forecast indicates that road conditions will improve significantly by mid-morning. Under the "Late Start," school will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at the regularly scheduled time. Buildings will open at 9:30 a.m. (30 minutes prior to school starting). Parents will be notified via a SchoolReach call. If you have questions, please contact Transportation Director Bob Reeves at (573)682-2014.
Potential Severe Weather
We are anticipating severe weather this afternoon. Anytime there is severe weather (high winds, lightning, etc) there is a chance of connectivity issues. We encourage anyone using stand alone software (MS Office, iWorks, etc) should save often. Those using Google Drive will be okay as Google saves your work every few seconds.
