Centralia Public Schools
From the Superintendent - July 2013
As July comes to an end, I am excited about the approaching school year. It is always exciting to welcome students back and to see the new class of kindergartners.
The Centralia R-VI School District's mission is “Preparing to Compete.” I want our students to strive to be extraordinary in their endeavors after graduation and to understand that they can do anything. Much of the focus of our new Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP) is designed to get them ready to be educated (early childhood education), educate them at a high level (multiple CSIP objectives address this), and prepare them to be gainfully employed (college and career readiness).

From the Desk of the Superintendent - June
The summer months have arrived, and it is a busy time for our maintenance crews. I met with our contractors who will be adding the final pieces of air conditioning to the high school this summer, and they are anxious to get started. We have several projects going on around the district, and it is sure to be a hectic summer.
