Darin R. Ford has an undergraduate degree from University of Central Missouri (UMC) a Masters from the University of Missouri-Columbia and an Educational Specialist degree from UMC. He and his wife Donna have two sons.

Centralia High School is currently taking applications for a secretarial position for the 2013/14 school year. Interested parties should fill out an application at the Centralia R-VI board office. Applications will be accepted through May 31st.

The 88th Annual Alumni Banquet will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 starting at 6:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. in the CIS Cafeteria. Catering will be provided by The Honeytree Catering with entertainment provided by Laverne Jone, singer. The cost is $14.00 in advance or $17.00 after May 15 or at the door. Key Club and Kiwanis are sponsoring the 91st Annual Mother's Day Banquet on Sunday, May 12th, at 7 AM in the CHS cafeteria.  As always, we'll have breakfast, special music, a speaker, and door prizes. We're inviting all mothers in the area to come celebrate their day with us while we take care of them.

PostHeaderIcon Million Receives John T. Belcher Award

Emily Million received the John T. Belcher MSBA scholarship at the area meeting at Fulton High School Wednesday, May 1. She is only one of seventeen students in the state of Missouri to receive this award this year. Emily will receive $750 and will be attending Truman next year.  Board vice-president and MSBA region 6 representative Nathan Chitwood was on hand to present the scholarship to Emily. The award is part of FutureBuilders, a non-profit education foundation of the Missouri School Boards' Association.
